When and where
We run indoor cricket coaching through the autumn season at Chelmer Valley High School, Court Road, Broomfield, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 7ER (near Broomfield Hospital) on Saturdays.
This term runs from 12 September to 19 December 2026.
Soft ball, hardball beginner, and hardball advanced sessions run every teaching Saturday at this venue.

Who each group is for
Soft Ball Group Session
Fun, skill-based sessions for young beginners and soft ball players.
- Includes sessions and academy kit (see fee breakdown).
Hardball Beginner Group Session
These sessions are for kids who have recently graduated from softball to hardball cricket and perhaps played their first hardball match this season. We primarily expect u9 and u10 kids to be in this category (indicative only).
- In addition to hardball nets and training, these kids will have a match play every week with softball.
Hardball Intermediate-Advanced Group Session
These sessions are for kids who have been playing hardball cricket for at least one to two seasons. Primarily the kids u10 upwards are expected to be in this category (indicative only).
- Includes coaching fee, masterclasses, and academy kit (see fee breakdown).
Term fees
After payment you will complete a short player-details form. Please use the same Parent or Carer name and email as your Stripe payment so we can match the two.

- Includes £302 coaching fee for 14 sessions, £20 for two masterclasses, and £15 for academy clothing kit

Academy clothing kit is provided on signup (not purchased separately through this website).
Sizing and contents will be confirmed by the academy team when you join.
During sessions we take pictures and videos that may appear on our website and social channels. If you would prefer your child is not included, email info@clgacademy.co.uk and we will not use new images of them.
